Self-Directed Supports Network meetings are for anyone who wants to learn more about supports or connect with others. The group meets once a month on a Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Zoom.
The Network is a resource for people who use self-directed supports through the Division of Developmental Disabilities (BHDDH). It is also for family members, caregivers and professionals.
Each meeting focuses on important topics about self-direction. Guest speakers share information and answer questions. Attendees can share concerns and connect with others who use self-directed supports.

Joanne Malise (LCSW, Director) and Cliff Alston (Program Manager) from Living Innovations, Rachel Morgan (Director), and Nicole Prefontaine from Perspectives Corporation spoke about SLA.
Learn about the Self-Directed Supports new online community platform for Rhode Islanders who use self-directed supports through BHDDH. This welcoming space is designed to help people connect with peers, share ideas and learn more about self-direction together. The event will also include a networking opportunity where you can ask questions, share experiences and meet others who are navigating self-direction.
