Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Session 5: Supporting EI Providers

The Sherlock Center is partnering with the RI Association for Infant Mental Health (RIAIMH) to offer Early Intervention providers in Rhode Island a training series designed to build a foundation of infant and toddler mental health and early relational health practices. This is the final session in the series.

Session 5 Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the core concepts of Reflective Practice as the foundation for IECMH.
  • Increase capacity for self-awareness, self-reflection and understanding of cultural influences related to working with vulnerable infants, toddlers and families.
  • Define Reflective Supervision.
  • Practice strategies for self-care to reduce stress and burnout.
