Introduction to Person-Centered Thinking

This six-hour course is for those who want to learn about a person-centered approach to helping people with disabilities live more independent and fulfilling lives.

You’ll explore the basics of person-centered thinking, including self-determination, how support systems have changed over time and the ideas behind this approach. This introductory course is the first in a series about person-centered thinking, helping everyone learn a positive, strengths-based approach.

The course will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Zoom on three dates:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 5
  • Wednesday, Aug. 6
  • Thursday, Aug. 7

A certificate of completion will be provided to those who attend all sessions.
